Synth Wizard Gavin Russom!
You may have heard New York’s Gavin Russom and may not even know it! He has released music under several different disguises, including Black Leotard Front, Black Meteoric Star, and The Crystal Ark. Russom is also known as a “Synth Wizard” for building instruments for the likes of Night Visions favorites James Murphy (LCD Soundsystem), Tim Goldsworthy (UNKLE), and Bjorn Copeland (Black Dice). He was also the synth player for LCD Soundsystem’s live shows.
